STYLE
Honjozo: Saké with a small amount of brewer's alcohol added to enhance aroma and heighten flavors. Despite popular belief, a Honjozo is only slightly higher in alcohol than a Junmai.
TASTING NOTES
Fresh and crisp this Honjozo style is dry yet full-bodied with rich melon flavors, hints of spice and the mouthfeel of a mid-summer rain.
PAIRING NOTES
Sushi and Sashimi, salads and lightly grilled vegetables and fish. Try it ice cold on a summer's day with a deli carved turkey sandwich, or mid winter with a nice bowl of salmon chowder.

Rice milled to: 70% of original grain.
