winemaker's notes: The wine has an ultra-ripe fruit expression, similar to other classic Oakville Cabernets. The signature of this vineyard remains constant, with cherry and black cherry fruits layered with sweet herb, spice and cedar from the oak. Rich and coating, the mouthfeel of the 2006 is similar to the 2005 vintage. The middle palate is sweet and plush and the medley of flavors progress into a long, lingering finish.
