Cultivated from 50-year-old vines located in the village of Denicé.
A very sunny spring with no destructive frost helped develop strong vines this vintage. The month of June was very warm, and the dry summer, without major storms, generated small berry grapes, which resulted in a limited production. The harvest started at the end of August, under sunny conditions.
Wine maker notes
The grapes were vinified with semi-carbonic fermention with 7-days maceration. Malolactic fermentation followed quickly to help to reduce the acidity and increase the roundness of the wine. Nouveau is bottled shortly after.
Food pairing
Always serve slighltly cool. Delicious with cold cuts, paté, turkey, chicken, light meats, and soft creamy cheeses.
